Have you heard of Shinrin-yoku: the Japanese Art of Forest Bathing? If you’d like to learn what it’s all about, join us for a one-hour presentation from WDM’s own Certified Nature + Forest Therapy Guide, Brandy Case Haub. Brandy will share her photos and stories from her recent trip to Japan, where she experienced Shinrin-yoku in the forests where the practice began 40 years ago.
If you are intrigued, you can join her for the full experience by registering for her immersive program Reading Nature: A Forest Therapy Walk and Book Discussion on the grounds outside the WDM library on the afternoon of June 1st.
Please join us to learn more about this Japanese philosophy that connects nature and wellness in a unique way!
